Certified Diamonds & Colored Gemstones

We provide certificated gemstones upon request.

When investing in a gemstone whether it be a diamond or a colored gemstone, a gemstone with a certificate can be a smart option. It is important to know, that even if at first glance precious stones may look very similar, their actual value may vary hugely depending on specific criteria. The value of a precious stone is established by its gemological composition, rarity and quality of finishing. In order to ascertain a gemstone's value, specialist  laboratories use powerful instruments in order to determine whether gemstones are synthetic or natural, have been subjected to enhancement treatments, etcetera. The laboratories issue the certificates which provide a full assessment of a gemstone's attributes. For your reference, the criteria are listed here below.

Our clients can opt for a certified diamond or gemstone upon request. Certificates are issued by independent, recognized laboratories. Laboratory certification procures an neutral judgment of the characteristics and quality of each diamond or colored gemstone. Certification (a grading report, or dossier by reputable and independent laboratories) provides the customer with added assurance that the diamond purchased is as described by the seller.

An Identification Report describes whether the stone is natural or synthetic, identifies the type of gemstone and includes any detectable treatments. This report also contains a detailed description of the gemstone such as cut, shape, weight, measurement, and color, and includes a photograph of the gemstone.

Not an Appraisal of value, but relevant to obtaining an accurate appraisal.

As mentioned above, the gemstone certificate is relevant for insurance purposes, as it gives a licensed, autonomous assessment of the diamond. A laboratory certification is not an appraisal. An appraisal ascertains the value of an item, primarily for insurance purposes. A diamond or colored gemstone's market value, is not evaluated by a certificate, a certificate solely determines its characteristics and quality. Nevertheless, diamond certification from a reputable laboratory is relevant to obtaining an accurate appraisal.
